School Garden Mini-Grants

Mini-grants range from $75-$500 dollars.

EECOM is pleased to announce that we are launching a School Garden Mini-Grants to help the Marin County Community. The initial "seed" funds for these garden grants comes from SEED and is available to schools with children pre-school-highschool.

If you represent an accredited school or day care program in Marin County and have dreamed of starting a garden (vegetable, butterfly, flowers) or simply maintaining a garden that you already have — you can now apply to EECOM for a mini-grant to cover things like, seeds, soil, gardening tools, and other direct garden costs.

The deadline for the applications is December 15th, 2008. Funds will be distributed in January of 2009.
